Shocking situational awareness, the PPO (bodyguard to PM rear) is too flat, the point man (ahead of the PM) is more interested in opening the door and the escort section(in the near ground) are stood hands together watching the principal not the threat. I know from personal experience that Mr Cameron is not an easy principal, however this is inexcusable and slack. I am not for one moment proposing the adoption of secret service style clear and cordon but a very serious after action review needs to be conducted. Had this individual been carrying a knife this would have been a very very different story.

ITV News has obtained footage of a man “shoving” the Prime Minister at an HS3 launch event in Leeds. As David Cameron left Leeds Civic Hall, the man rushes up and appears push to him. Security officers then seize the man and hurry the PM into a waiting car.
