Amazing dog warns owner over diabetes attack!

As if we didn’t already know it… dogs are incredible animals.

This is a heartwarming story showing the abilities of a well trained dog. What’s so impressive is that the breed is not associated with detection work, due to their size and perceived lack of intelligence (compared to other breeds).

Milly has been specially trained to smell when Yvonne’s blood sugar is too high or low and either barks or licks her face or hand to make her check and either eat some sugar or take an insulin injection.
