GSS SUPERSTAR OF THE YEAR AWARD – 2019

December 2019 saw the second presentation of the GSS “Superstar of the Year” award.  It is presented to the GSS colleague who has consistently lived by the GSS values throughout the course of the year.  We are delighted to announce that Tom Maguire, Northern Contract Supervisor, is this year’s worthy recipient.

 Tom has demonstrated incredible resilience, determination and great commitment in delivering the day to day operations at one of our biggest clients.  Presenting the award, National Operations Director – Matt Crofts said, “I am delighted to be able to present this to Tom on behalf of senior management team.  Tom goes about his business with a smile on his face at all times, and nothing is too much trouble for him.  Throughout the year Tom has shown great determination in leading the site team to deliver a quality service, consistently lives by the GSS values by being a team player, being reliable, striving for innovation and excellence…and having a laugh along the way!” 

 Upon receiving the award, Tom said, “It has been a challenging and really enjoyable year in equal measure.  I feel I have grown and developed over the course of the last twelve months and I’m incredibly proud that my work has been recognised in this way.”
